Echo & The Bloop

Sometime, Somewhere
Allie's missing her best mate Nina. And Nina...well, she’s missing. This one-woman show set in a hair salon explores the darker side of social media and the consequences of tabloid press reporting. Inspired by the true story of the salon owners who banned gossip magazines and tabloids in the wake of the Caroline Flack tragedy.

One of Those Streets
A performance project exploring and excavating the multiple lives of a single building: a house, a home. Delving into the past and imagining futures, this is a story told through the very fabric of the building itself and the experiences of the people who have once lived there and who may yet make it their home. In a whirligig of film and visuals, movement and soundscapes, puppetry, installation and storytelling, a static address transforms into something dynamic and elusive: something alive.

Going Underground
A series of short vignettes set on the London Underground, inspired by the photography of Bob Mazzer capturing Tube travel in the 1980s.

In Receipt
Fascinated by the way something so fleeting as a till receipt can give such an insight into someone’s world, this one-man-show traces back these shop-bought stories, conjures long-lost voices and rekindles memories. What starts as a patchwork of narrative snippets, both invented and embellished, slowly transforms into a story of loss and renewal from a particular moment in the writer’s own life.
