Mission

Building up a creative career from scratch is a challenge. There are no clearly trodden paths that lead anywhere I would choose to go. My strategy has been to follow my dreams, take chances and see what is out there.

So what happened?

I moved to a foreign country, learnt a foreign language and tried as hard as possible to immerse myself in something new to me.

...and then?

I wanted to find out about marketing with an aim to seeking sponsorship and funding for creative projects, so I studied a masters in Marketing and Communication Management at Spain`s first online university.

What is Simon MacDonald?

Pure unrefined creativity.

Future plans?

I am still working on my last 5-year plan, it is currently 3 years over due. However, objectives include continuing with photography, learning Chinese, traveling, meeting people, participating in exhibitions and working for communication agencies.

Social Responsibility

Simon MacDonald makes every effort to be a socially responsible entity, participating in community activities, recycling, being tidy, not making too much noise, reducing CO₂ emmissions where possible...
